How your files are handled

JustPDF processes uploaded files automatically on our server only to perform the PDF operation you select, such as merging, splitting, compressing, editing, converting, or signing a document.

• Input files are deleted immediately after processing is complete.
• Generated files expire after 60 minutes and are automatically cleaned up. The cleanup process runs every 15 minutes.
• Generated files are deleted immediately after a successful download.
• Download links are signed, private, and automatically expire.

AI training and sharing

We do not use uploaded files to train AI models, improve AI systems, create advertising profiles, or sell document content. JustPDF does not currently send uploaded documents to external AI services for analysis or training.

What limited data may be retained

JustPDF does not store document contents in the account database. To operate and protect the service, we may retain limited operational data, including account details, usage counts, operation type, date, file size, security request logs, and an anonymous guest-session identifier used to enforce the daily guest limit.

Anonymous product analytics

We may collect privacy-focused, anonymous events such as page views, tool opens, processing success or failure, and result downloads. The analytics identifier is random and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not collect document contents or file names for these events. Raw analytics events are retained for a limited period and then removed or summarized.

Guest sessions

Visitors can use JustPDF without creating an account. A signed, HttpOnly browser cookie identifies a guest session so we can enforce usage limits and protect the service from abuse. This cookie is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
